1. Service Scope

SourceLine is a flat-fee, direct hire recruiting partner. We help clients fill skilled, hard-to-hire roles by conducting competitor research, sourcing qualified candidates, and submitting prescreened talent who are ready to interview.

All searches are performed by experienced, U.S.-based recruiting professionals — no bots, no outsourced sourcing or recruiting. Every candidate is selected based on your specific hiring needs and required skill sets.

We do not manage interview coordination, negotiate offers, conduct background check or reference checks, or facilitate onboarding. Our role is to source, engage, and prescreen candidates — then connect your team to qualified talent.

2. Client Responsibilities

As a SourceLine client, you are responsible for:

Submitting accurate and complete role information at the start of your subscription
Contacting interested candidates within 24–48 hours of receipt
Performing all interviews, reference checks, background checks, drug screenings, and any other employment-related evaluations
Manage and update your job orders and staffing needs for maximized sourcing efforts
Communicating with the SourceLine team including: interview feedback, offers made, start dates, staffing needs

3. No Guarantees

Due to the variable nature of candidate behavior and market conditions, SourceLine does not guarantee:

That a candidate will respond to your outreach or attend a scheduled interview
That a candidate will be hired, accept your offer, or remain employed
That sourcing efforts will result in a specific number of candidate submissions, interviews, or hires

Candidate engagement depends on multiple factors, including job market competitiveness, employer reputation, and follow-up speed. Delayed outreach by the hiring manager will result in a reduce response rates. SourceLine is not liable for candidate behavior, responsiveness, or outcomes after initial interest is expressed.

4. Candidate Information Accuracy Disclaimer

SourceLine does not verify or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by candidates, including resumes, work history, qualifications, or contact details.

It is the client’s sole responsibility to conduct all due diligence, including but not limited to pre-screening, interviews, reference checks, background checks, and drug screenings, as applicable.

SourceLine is not liable for any hiring decisions, outcomes, or consequences related to the use of candidate information. By using this service, the client acknowledges and accepts full responsibility for the hiring process and releases SourceLine from any and all liability related to candidate accuracy, suitability, or post-hire performance.

5. Communication Expectations

SourceLine does not require interview feedback, candidate status updates, or confirmation of hiring outcomes.
Clients are required to share updates regarding: staffing needs, when interviews are scheduled and provide interview feedback, when offers are made, and confirmation that candidate started.
It is the client’s responsibility to notify SourceLine when a role has been filled so sourcing efforts can be reallocated appropriately.

6. Confidentiality & Usage

Candidate information is shared solely for your internal hiring use and may not be sold, redistributed, or repurposed.
Misuse of candidate data will result in immediate termination of service.
Clients are expected to maintain confidentiality and handle all candidate data in accordance with applicable laws and privacy practices.

7. Limitation of Liability

SourceLine shall not be held liable directly or indirectly for any incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to:

client hiring decisions
candidate performance or referral
business or financial outcomes

8. Fees and Pricing

SourceLine reserves the right to adjust fees or service structures at any time; however, any changes will not affect active agreements or current clients. Pricing and terms are current as of October 2025.

9. Modifications to These Terms

SourceLine reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of any updates.
